Pound at 8 month low against the Euro

Post Brexit, currency analysts were forecasting 1:1 parity between the Euro and Pound by the end of 2017. I didn't believe it at the time, but it's looking more and more likely.....

I'm not sure the £ will drop to parity with the € but its getting pretty close and its something prospective Brit buyers on sterling incomes/pensions should take into account at the moment.

Apparently foreign buyers here, not affected by the slump, are on the increase and there is some evidence that house prices are stabilizing and maybe rising slightly. However, I wonder how the dramatic fall of the £ since the Brexit vote will affect the number of Brits considering buying in the Eurozone now that properties there are considerably more expensive for them.
I have no wish to get into yet another toxic Brexit debate but what do others think?

So the Swedes and the Norwegians are taking over.
Neither of whom use the €uro and certainly the Swedish Krona is not particularly strong against the €uro.

Don't know where you get the rate of 1.11. It is currently 1.13 and has been around that for several weeks. Bad enough without trying to make it worse. If things are so bad how come we have estate agents flourishing in Quesada. Has anyone added up how many there are in Quesada alone? They all seem to be doing well.

Yes, you must not let the facts get in the way of the fantasy.
The pound/€uro rate has bobbed around for years, its lowest point being reached long before any referendum.
If you live abroad, you have to live with currency fluctuations.

Try checking the date of the post !! Not trying to make it worse as you suggest, 1.11 was the rate at the time.

Yes and perhaps you should not have made the above remark until you got your facts straight.
