Check in time at Alicante Airport

I am travelling to Manchester from Alicante next week with Hand Luggage only. Can any one please tell me is it necessary to be at the Airport 2 hours before the flight or can it be a little later. TIA

It is entirely up to you. Personally I would rather be there earlier than later, why stress yourself with traffic delays, queues at passport control etc when you can sit, relax & have a coffee (OK, inflated prices) & be ready to board when called.

The queues at security can be lengthy, and unpredictable, especially during peak times. Travelling with hand luggage I still get there early...Rather early than late! Grab a coffee or just people watch...I quite enjoy it. Use Flightstats to give you the heads-up on your departure gate.
