Car Boot Sales

Are there any Car Boot Sales in the area? If so, details please. If not - does anyone know why?

Saturday morning at end of lemon tree road 332 end

Large car boot and market on a concrete hard standing with entertainment , bars ,bodega etc every sunday morning from 8am , at Mercadillo Del Torro Pilar.

Car/ moto display last sunday of the month , soon to be the new venue for the Jaguar club and the classic car show .

Car boot sales are alien to the Spanish , the guardia and police hate them ,as they think that all the items are stolen ...!!!

This is the third one I have helped to set up and run , hope this one will stay the course .

In my opinion, the best car boot in the local area is the one at El Moncayo on Saturday mornings from around 08:00
From Quesada, take the CV-895 towards Guardamar. Just before you get to the roundabout with the N-332 the entrance to the car boot is on your right hand side.

I find the Mercadillo Del Torro Pilar car boot a bit disappointing. It's never really taken off with either buyers or sellers, despite being re-launched recently.

There's also a car boot at Camping Marjal, near Crevillente. I think it was every fortnight on Sundays, but I understand it will be weekly from the beginning of October. I've never been, so can't comment on how good it is, but I've heard people say that it's very popular.
