Hi can anybody recommend a good cheap car hire company near Alicante airport ? , thanks ....Antony

Try doyouspain.com. They show prices of hire cars from the airport from different companies and have the cheapest prices around. Be careful which hire car company you choose though as quite a few of them have bad reviews. We only use Firefly and will possibly also try Centauro in future as they have mostly good reviews.

Car hire firms, air conditioning engineers, locksmiths, electricians and solicitors must love it...not sure about the mainstream public who might be getting senses of deja-vu on a daily basis!!!

I tend to go by tripadvisor. If you go on the forum specific to where you are visiting you will always find endless posts on car hire and you soon see which are the companies to avoid.
