La Mata Market.

La Mata Market.

Postby Belcat » Sun Oct 29, 2017 2:10 pm

Hi All.
Obviously , this wednesday ( 1st Nov) is a National Spanish holiday , and most business's will be closed.
My enquiry is - Does anybody know if La Mata Market (normally held on wednesday's) will be moved a day forward to tuesday ?

I'm asking , for a neighbour , who is only here for a 5 day break.

Don't know about La Mata but Guardamar market is definitely on Tuesday this week.

Possibly because that's not a national holiday? Just a thought.

I believe that Sharonspain is pointing out that the Guardamar market that is usually on a Wednesday is on Tuesday this week, meaning that possibly La Mata market may be on Tuesday instead.

Yes Wednesday is the National holiday but some markets change their day if it falls on a Red day to the day before.

Hope this helps to clear up a couple of misunderstandings.

It's a good job you keep us on track, Jan.
Now, I'm upstairs at the moment and can't for the life of me remember why I came up. Any clues?
