Does anyone know if the prepaid currency card Revolut is widely accepted in the area?

It’s a Mastercard, so yes - it will be accepted everywhere.
Most ATM will charge a fee for using a card that’s not issued by the bank that owns the ATM, but that apples to any card.
The only thing to be aware of is that Revolt isn’t a member of the FSCS scheme, so if the company crashed then your funds aren’t protected by the UK government. They do claim that your funds are ringfenced in a Barclays account, but that sounds like a bit of a nightmare to me if anything goes wrong.
You might want to take a look at Starling Bank instead. Very similar to Revolt, but FSCS protected.
I would previously have suggested Monzo as well, but they have now capped the free foreign withdrawals to £200 per month.
Pete.

I’ve been using Caxton fx for years... maybe not the best rates, but the difference is minimal, and the customer service is excellent

Fair FX was always good money on the card instantly if you do a card transfer from your phone.

I’ve had mine a few years now and it’s great. Really easy to use and not had a problem. I get a much better exchange rate too.
