Bad news I'm afraid Tontri, I've just looked on the internet, and Johnsons says it's closed on Sundays.

I'm wondering whether the shop within the petrol station at the Arches is open-I think it sells newspapers. Failing that, the Zocco market?

Thanks Nopasanada, the shop at the petrol station was open. Got the paper from there and cash from Santander, easy to park and without all the traffic problems in the week.

Johnsons was open by the way.

I didn't know that there was a Carrefour in Punta Prima, although there is a Consum there, but the one in Orihuela Costa is shut today.
