How can i get a telephone cut on from the Uk?

I need to get a landline phone disconnected, the contract is with Telefonica, when i call 1004 the messages are all in Spanish. Would anybody be able to suggest how to navigate the pre recorded message? Also does anybody know if i can contact Telefonica from the UK at all?

You say "English" and, eventually, someone will reply in English.

Try the movistar shop in Rojales. They may be able to help. They are linked as when I cancelled my landline a few years ago that is where I had to return my router before the online cancellation was completed.

Do as Marcliff has suggested. When the recorded message comes on just keep repeating English please.

Thankyou, i've been into the Movistar shop in Rojales, they suggested calling 1004, its a pre recorded message so you need to be able to understand which option is best to use. I'll call back in the shop and ask them to do it on my next trip. Thanks again.

I hope they will assist you. If they won't just ring 1004. I know it's recorded messages but probably like the UK eventually you get a person listening and when they hear English Please you are passed to an English speaker. Used it loads of times.
