We had to go into the Suma office in Rojales ourselves to set up the payments. It may be worth going in there to ask. I think you need to take documents with you such as a copy of the deeds and ID such as passport or utility bill but they will tell you.

There are further details on this website:
https://www.suma.es/PortalWeb/cuerpo_oficinas.xhtml

Office address in Rojales:
C/ Joaquín González, 3
Rojales

Telephone number: 965292000

*Opening hours:
From 9.00 till 14.00 hours Tuesdays to Fridays

*Check the website to confirm the latest opening times

Hope this helps.

Mine is in September. When we moved into our house it took four years to get a bill which was back dated. So if you don't hear from them soon go into their office.

Make sure it comes out of the bank because if it's late , you are fined

Suma is not insurance - It's council tax, similar to the UK but much cheaper:

Here's a copy of the list of dates for 2015 (From my Fiscal Rep - Abaco) for when the payments have to be made:

I advise that you check with the local SUMA office to make certain a debit payment has been set up. My SUMA usually has been taken from my account around the end of October , but make certain that you have arranged for them to deduct the payment from your account . I had a lot of trouble with the payment when I first came over to Spain 2006 , I ended up paying interest because the bill was not paid. I was living in England and did not receive the bill.
