How to de-register a car in Spain when the car is in UK?

Hi,
My Spanish reg car has blown up the engine in UK and is scrap,does anyone know what I have to do to de register it in Spain when the car is in the UK

I suggest you go and talk to traffico in Alicante or Cartagena.....or better idea, ask Nick Bateman. He could deal with it for you. He has an office in Benijofar. 634 075 902
