Advice on Gas Bottles / Gas Plumber

Hello,

We've recently had gas central heating fitted and the external gas taps they have installed are at a level for the smaller gas bottles rather than the large bottles. Do you know and can you recommend a good registered gas plumber to make the amendments to the gas pipe work.
Also do you know if the large gas bottles need to housed, or can they be freestanding?
Finally, I understand that there are different types of gas you can us. Is there one better than the other and can you recommend a gas bottle supplier?

stick with the small gas bottles they are more economical. if using butane house them to protect from cold snaps

We have a 1000 ltr tank and have it filled once a year. Better than messing about with bottles.
