Electric and water has been cut off.

Hi
I have not been able to get to my apartment in quesada for a few years and for some reason the bank failed to pay the bills. This was some time ago but I wonder what the implications will be to have the services rendered connected. Will I be charged for the time that I was not connected

Yes you will be charged and probably be fined for not paying! also standing charges apply why do you think they would not you had a contract with them! The bank even if you had enough money in need to update your proof of identity to prevent money laundering so will freeze your account if you do not present a current passport after a certain time, this is your problem and no mater what you need to address it outhrrwise no water and electric! the best way is to get your solicitor to sort it but this can take some time! No different to the UK if you fail to pay your bills!

I guess it depends if the meters were removed.
If they were then you probably won't be charged a standing charge for the period when they were removed, but there will probably be a hefty fee for removal and reinstallation plus back payments for any outstanding charges prior to removal, plus interest and fees for chasing the debt.
You'll probably have a smart meter installed when the supply is reconnected and you may need an electrical certificate to verify the wiring is sound before reconnection.

I'd reccomended getting a lawyer to act as your fiscal representative to handle the negotiations, it could save you some money.

Pete.
