Electricity supply

Postby Motters » Wed Sep 13, 2017 10:57 am

hi,

I am currently with Iberdrola and am looking to switch suppliers to Only Luz. Does anybody have any experiences with Only Luz.

Thanks

No experience with Only Luz, but we're with Iberswitch who switch your supplier to whoever is offering the cheapest deal.
When you're comparing prices, you need to be aware that Iberdrola will still charge you for distribution costs as they own the power distribution network that other suppliers are using; so factor these costs in to your calculations.

We're considering going back to Iberdrola, as we aren't happy with Iberswitch or the company that they've currently switched us to.

Pete.

Hi Pete,

Thanks for your comments, I have had a terrible time with Iberdrola lately hence my looking at a move.

Thanks again,

We have been with Iberswitch for years, no problems, do not be mislead by Iberdrola if they off you a good deal to stay with them, after 6 months you revert back to their full price.

There are probably going to be many power cuts within the next year or so as they are digging everywhere for fiber Internet. In order to connect at certain places there will be cuts. However, switching company will not change the power cuts as the distribution network, as previously mentioned, is the same.
