Utility Bills

Utility Bills

Postby Suetag » Thu Mar 09, 2017 9:05 pm

Hi,

I'm wondering if I can get some help and advise we are moving over in May we have owned our 3 bed property since last year it hasn't been used very much but our gas and electric bills we receive every 2 months seem very high for the amount of time the property has actually been used.

What should the average bills be approximately for both services every 2 months ?

Electric will depend on the amount of power you are contracted for. However, the normal rating of 5.75kw (which will vary from place to place) will work out about 45 to 50 euro every 2 months without using any electricity at all.
Gas, no idea I'm afraid.

That sounds about right.

We pay our Iberdrola electricity bill monthly, and the fixed standing charges etc are around €24/m for 5.5kw potencia.

Hi I am trying to register for online billing /paperless for my water (Agamed ) and electricity ( Iberdrola ) but neither site accepts my NIE/NIF numbers as they appear on the bills and will not accept my english mobile number . Because of this i can't even send an e mail to them asking what i am doing wrong as the contact form keeps saying wrong format !! help !! We pay both these by DD but as we do not live here do not like the fact our bills sit in our easily accessible post box for months

I tried for ages to register online with Hidraqua, for my water bill. Like you, it wouldn't accept my NIE number. Eventually, it turned out that the letters, at the beginning and end of the NIE number had to be in lower case, with no dash. For instance, if your NIE number was A1234567-A, it had to be submitted as a1234567a. Maybe it'll work for you?
