La Marina market is on every Sunday and also on Thursdays. La Marina is about 20 minutes drive from Quesada.

With thanks to Hillsey for the following directions to the market:

If coming into La Marina from the N332, Quesada direction, its the third right off the roundabout. If coming from Alicante direction its the first right. This puts you on Av.San Fulgencio. Follow this down and you need to take the 4th left turn into Plaza Sierra Castilla where you'll see bars/restaurants and banks. Then take your first right and then your first left and you'll see the market in front of you.

Is there a bus service from Torrevieja to La Marina Market?

The market referred to is Urbanizacion La Marina and not to be confused with the village of La Marina. The bus shows a regular one from Torrevieja to Alicante via La Marina but I think that is the village which is on the coast.
There is only one shown per day (Mon to Fri) between Urb La Marina and Torrevieja but it is 1015 to Torrevieja returning at 1415 so it would be no good to get to the market.

La Marina Market is no longer held on Sundays - it finished 2 weeks ago. I believe the Thursday and Saturday ones are continuing.

Last couple of times I went to La Marina market it was very disappointing. It used to be a big bustling market a few years back but was down to a handful of stalls.I think though it was Sundays I went - not surprised then if the Sunday market has stopped. Is the Thursday one still busy enough? Anyone been recently? Ditto if there is now a Saturday one? Always useful to know when there are good markets, visitors always seem to love them...
