this afternoon my friend and her husband were walking near the blue lake on the san luis side when they found a beautiful dog wandering round, she attached herself to them as they were walking my dog and was following them. she appears to be well looked after has a blue collar on and appears to be a cross between a sheltie and pointer...hopefully the pics has downloaded and it can be seen here. however you can see her on my facebook and heathers(Heather Brown). she has a pointed nose/long legs and big paws is mainly white with a couple of liver coloured spots on her back.... please share I am sure she is lost and not abandoned... thank you and you can send me a message on here I will check regularly ..

Hey, i found a dog a couple of weeks ago at the lake in San Luis, went to the nearest veterinarian and had the dog checked for a chip in the neck. They did this for free and found the registered chipnr which led to the owner. Dog safely back home the next day. Maybe a tip and possibility for you? Thanks for helping a mans best friend! Good luck, merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Enjoy!

hi thanks for the info I would always do this automatically but of course not everyone knows this ... we could not take the dog to the vets that day as it was a national holiday but took her yesterday were the vet checked her out sadly she did not have a chip.. she is now with SATS in Dolores so we are hoping that someone will come foreword to say she is theres... but somehow we doubt it!!!! but at least she is in a safe place and I can check on her as I walk their other dogs.... again thanks for your help and happy new year to you.
