These are the days of the Markets in the local area. Most are in the morning unless shown.

If anyone knows of any other Markets that are not shown here or any changes to this list, such as any Markets not on the days shown, please reply to this topic. I can then update this list. Thank you.

Sunday

  • El Zoco market – El Zoco market is not far from the Quesada Arches, next to the roundabout on the motorway by the Masa cement factory. The Zoco market is very close to Quesada, not far from the Arches, next to the roundabout on the motorway by the Masa cement factory - It's easy to find as there will be lots of cars going there and you will join the queue for the market car park very close to the big roundabout and will see the market car park in the distance. The market is on a Sunday and open from 8:30 to 14:00. View a map of Zoco Market

Tuesday

Wednesday

  • La Mata market (In the town officially called Torrelamata) As you enter La Mata from the N332, you will go down a small road facing towards the sea - At the T junction the town and market is on the left but it's better to go right at the T junction and park in the roads around and behind the beaches, watch out for the one way streets though! Thursday

  • Rojales Market is in the centre of Rojales town and close to the Mercadona supermarket.. It is a typical Spanish market with fresh fruit and vegetables and other food stalls - There is also a Cafe and many other stalls with various products. I'll ask my friend who lives in Dolores. I know when I buy fruit & veg in our market on a Sunday (ours is the Lemon tree one) she says she got her fruit & veg cheaper in Dolores Sunday market! We are always comparing prices!

EDITED TO ADD: I've just spoken with my friend, she said the market in Dolores is on Friday! I told her she had told me it was on a Sunday as that was why she never comes to ours. Sorry! :text-givemebeer:

No problem... Revised it now.

We went to a lovely market last week at Cabo Roig - not very big, but its fairly easy to find and part of it runs along the beach front. Don't know if you want ot add this to your listing .

Guess it would help to tell you that this market is on a Thursday morning !!!

Thank you for the photo of the market sign and the facebook link Guapa.

You wouldn't think it was in Spain though, with that Facebook link...no Spanish language in sight. Maybe the Spanish people have their own Facebook page for this market.
