Hi why don't you try the travel bus touring companies in Quesada for day trips, they do have a good selection.
Also:
El Castelle de Guadalest
Science Park, Valencia

:?: Our visitors always wanted to go out and about. The Coach trips are excellent value for money and it's a days rest for the Driver. The train from San Isidro takes you to Alicante which is good to explore. Excellent Menu of the Day in the side streets. Lovely Marina. Castle.
Cartagena has lots to offer.
Try things out yourself and find out whether they would be interested in them. Collect Maps from Tourist Offices. Lots of information on them that you wouldn't get using a Sat Nav.
Most people like to go to a Market as well.
Have to admit I always had an Itinery planned when we had visitors then things go smoothly and nobody is bored.

We've done lots of the coach day trips, Alicante, Benidorm, Cartegena, Mar Menor and the train ride, Guardalest and the Algar water falls plus others and they are all good and great value for money.

Have a look here - These are for 2016 but the trips rarely change each year. It will give you an idea.

Another good option is Murcia city, which is around 40 minutes away from Almoradi and an easy drive, being motorway almost the whole way.
It is a city that is often overlooked, but one which offers an awful lot, from stunning architecture to great cuisine and don't forget that you can even shop in Ikea on your way back lol.. But in June each year Murcia city plays host to the festival of Cardinal Beluga. This is a culture and music festival which sees international acts perform all over the city in some stunning locations. Most Thursdays during the festival, they have free evening shows in the main square outside the cathedral, a very beautiful location.. I've seen Russian ballet and world class live flamenco, just stunning.
There is a tourist information service in the city that can give you further details, but I can highly recommend it.
I hope they have a great trip over, whatever you get up to :)

Murcia is a lovely city, park by Ikea and take the tram into the centre, no hassle finding a parking place! The cathedral is wonderful and if visiting you must visit the Casino, absolutely amazing. Depending on how far you want to travel, Mojacar is a white village on the hill side, magnificent views. Maybe an overnight stay? If staying down there a visit to Tabernas in Almeria, mini Hollywood where the spaghetti westerns were filmed!
