Los Carmelos in La Marina Pueble. On the right as you head into La Marina from the northbond N332, just past the campsite. Watch out or you'll miss it, it's set back a bit from the road. Brilliant tapas and cheap as chips. And they sell wine from the barrel - bring your own bottle!

The best Spanish restaurant in our area is La Noria , this is Spanish used by the locals, don't be put of by the bar area, when you go in turn right or ask the waiter which there is many. you will be surprised but don't expect your normal menu del dia. This is a restaurant.

La Herradura - next to the REPSOL Garage in Los Montesinos.
Lovely setting, excellent food and from Wednesday through to Sunday evening there is entertainment. The flamenco shows are brilliant. Friendly staff - and lots of parking round the back. You need to book from Thursday through to Saturday nights. They also do lunches at 12 euros which is good value, including their special bread with alioli and tomato and a salad, three courses and a drink. The food is authentically Spanish! 96 672 10 78 or look in most of the free papers where they take full page adverts.

Personally I like Goyos if you want somewhere actually on Quesada!
