Bad storm last night! - November

Postby Liz & Gordon » Mon Nov 02, 2015 8:07 am

Storm last night .
It was pretty bad here in Lo Marabu, checked this morning all seems okay, but there is debris , (roof tiles) etc in the street, just noticed what looks like a section of tiled roof lying wedged against a garden wall, its still raining.
Hope no one was injured.

Oh dear! Thanks for telling us.
I hope everyone is ok. I will check with my neighbours as we are in the UK.

Yep, a lot of wind, rain and lightening here in Benimar... all the lights went out but only for about half an hour... it was the worst I have seen in a while, but short lived thankfully..

We have a few plant pots blown off the walls and the outside table and other furniture seems to have wound up in a weird spot. Even a sun brolly on one of the balconies has blown over and that has a 25kg block weighing it down.
Hopefully nothing too serious but will check the neighbours who aren't here later on (Once I've cleared my own garden).

Trees blown over on Avda. de Recorral and lying in middle of road. Also road signs bent, wheely bins in middle of road's all around Quesada. Large billboards on CV 905 to Torrevieja demolished and roads flooded near our son's school in Torrevieja.
