Fridge and washing machine

Hi move to rojales on Thursday but removal truck coming Monday and there was a delay on my ordered fridge and washing machine so going to have to buy when I get here. What's the best place to getting them in rojales area and are they a lot more expensive in Spain? Thanks

The best place in my mind is Al Campo at La Zenia. We ordered a tv online while in the UK to be delivered the day after we arrived in Quesada. Their service was excellent, delivered on time and at a reasonable delivery cost of €9.99.

We went to the store a couple of weeks after getting there and ordered a washing machine in store which they delivered 2 days later. There prices are competitive and delivery appears to be reliable and affordable. If you ordered online today you should be able to choose a delivery slot for Friday. The prices were similar to Currys here.

We'd recommend 'Milar' at Punta Marina (Punta Prima - same area as McDonalds, off the N332 roundabout), for any household electrical item. We've always received great customer service and at a pretty good price. They've also opened another outlet in Torrevieja, opposite 'Aldi', by 'Iceland' (Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas) - although we've never visited there.

We've used Don De in Quesada for a number of purchases. Delivery and installation is included in the price and, on two occasions when we asked when it would be delivered, their reply was, now!

Don De do seem to be good on delivery and installation times, but when we looked for kitchen items (cooker and hob), they actually came in around €400 HIGHER than Conforama for the "items"...so Conforama it was...and installation was only €50 from a local installer...it definitely pays to shop around!

Also look at the likes of MediaMarkt - supermarkets don't seem to get the best write-ups when it comes to after-sales or problems down the line.

I can't remember the name, but from Arches, head towards Torrevieja, do a U-turn at the McDonalds and turn right into the urbanisation, its a BIG place - they were brilliant with me when I bought Fridge freezer - delivery next day.
There's a mere 54 steps up to the front door of my house... and they didn't even question it when it was delivered.
Brilliant!

Where on earth do you live, 54 steps!!!! I've only got 8 steps to my front door and it's proving difficult to sell because of them.

I wanted private... I got private. With a stunning view. Only the likes of Ryanair can see into my pool, there's not many that can make that claim in Quesada.
