Solar Lighting

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy "quality" solar lights, just for adding some ambient lighting around a small pool or small garden area?

I know the Chinese supermarkets sell them, but I've had solar lights from similar places before and they just weren't up to much (if they worked at all!!).

Amazon - I get most of mine from there and they have a great selection. I think planes might try to land in my UK garden soon, being only 30 minutes from Gatwick, as the lights are so good.

Some of the stuff they sell is really rubbish. We paid quite a lot for some pole lighting and they only last for about 2 hours at the most.
However, we bought some Powerbee Saturn lights from Amazon and they come on when it gets dark (about 6;30 at the mo) and give a really good light. I was amazed that, when we got up at 7 am the other morning, they were still shining brightly. Actually cheaper to buy them from Amazon co uk including delivery than they were from Amazon es.
Highly recommended.
We also got some cheapo lights from Brico Depot (about 8 euro for 6) which last for hours but not a very bright light.

Marcliff, do the Power bee lights give off a "cool white" or "warm white" light?

Quite a bright, white light. Not sure what "cool" white is but think warm is the yellowish light and these are definitely not those.
Avoid the Oscar solar pole lights. They only last for a maximum of 2 hours or so.

Remember the Sun discolours and cracks plastics so it's not worth spending a lot of money as they need replacing every couple of years or so if in direct sunlight.
