Can anyone give me some advice on how I can collect my house deeds from ALDEA ASORRES .
I understand the company has gone into liquidation and I cannot find any reference as to where they can be contacted.

I have emailed this company ( www.sunlawyers.com ) but to date no contact from them. I need to have my house deeds to be able to sell my house , Aldea assorres had the original deeds and I am trying to get them back. Anyone have any information where I can obtain my deeds,

Is it not like the UK where the deeds are now stored electronically,
and you dont actually need the paper copies ?

If you are in any doubt try talking to a Gestor.. they should be able to help.

A copy should be kept at the notary where it was signed. The notary will have used it to register it with the land registry.
You can request a copy from the original notary and will be stamped "Copia Autorizada" and will be signed and sealed by the notary.
If you took out a mortgage, the bank should also have a copy and this should be given to you once the mortgage has been cleared.
A solicitor would be able to obtain a copy if your Spanish is not quite up to it.
