Prorogation. Is it illegal?Luckily no other prime minister has used it in recent history! Er.
I think it is rather sad when we expect politicians to lie.. what has the UK become?.. If we accept that they lie, what incentive do they have to tell the truth?
We should DEMAND the truth... otherwise what use is an election..?
We should demand high standards.. and punish liars in public office...

Excellent...
And it seems people are okay to accept stuff like that .. we should demand better after the people in the UK are paying for those people..

Channel 5 at 9pm monday evening could be interesting.Jeremy Paxman considering our politicians followed by another hour on the same subject with various comments.
Andrew Neil also made a recent quote about why our current crop of politicians were so derided.
There are numerous reasons why our politicians are treated with contempt.I could wear my typing fingers out listing them.

Not sure if its interesting or something to laugh about. Depressing and embarrassing are more appropriate.
Bad enough if our politicians were just incompetent and expenses cheats. The current cabinet is comprised of hypocritical, self serving liars, whose priorities are 1) their career, 2) tory party survival and possibly, but a long way behind 3) the UK. Their main talents lie in their ability to spin on a sixpence and the nerve to justify the unjustifiable, exampled by Gove's disgraceful performance on Andrew Marr this morning.
Worst of all its led & encouraged by a narcissistic, lying, cheating, bumbling, conniving buffoon. Heaven help us, every day it gets worse. My only hope is that it becomes obvious to the populous that he and his cohorts have gone too far this time and they get booted out.

Most of the cabinet said it would be an outrage to close parliament.
Where are they now, hiding and won't do interviews.
