I don’t why you made this statement when both the Uk govt and the spanish government have both said that healthcare here for brits will stay exactly the same as it is now, deal or no deal
I thought that was common knowledge now
Plus, the Uk government have also said pensions will still be paid here plus pension increases
There’s a spanish government website and a Uk government website with all the details

Spain
Spain’s prime minister said Friday his government is preparing emergency measures to preserve the rights of Britons in Spain in the event of the UK leaving the European Union without a deal.
“I want to sent a message of calm to Spaniards who live in Britain and also to Britons who live in Spain: their rights will be maintained whatever the scenario,” Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez told a year-end news conference following a weekly cabinet meeting.

The government will adopt measures by a decree-law which will be presented at the beginning of February “at the latest” that will ensure Britons would keep their rights even if Britain leaves the EU without a deal as long as Spaniards get the same treatment in Britain, he added.

The measures, which have been drawn up in “close cooperation” with Brussels and other EU member states, will also protect bilateral trade ties, the prime minister added.
Uk government have said, on their website
The UK Government will continue to pay state pension, child benefits, and disability benefits to eligible UKnationals in the EU after the UK’s exit from the EU.

This is what happens with selective editing..

However, this is what it actually says on the government website

The UK leaving the EU will not affect entitlement to continue receiving the UK State Pension if you live in the EU, and we are committed to uprate across the EU in 2019 to 2020. We would wish to continue uprating pensions beyond that but would take decisions in light of whether, as we would hope and expect, reciprocal arrangements with the EU are in place.

Note the bit about... UNTIL 2020...

and words like "hope and expect"... "we would wish"...and "but would take decisions in light of whether..."

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/uk-national ... l-scenario

Nothing is sure yet.... there is still uncertainty..

beware of fake news...

There’s uncertainty in everything in life, we could have promises on pension increases, healthcare etc and these could all change at the whim of parliament tomorrow, next week or next year
However, let’s try and focus on the positive. It’s good news on pensions, pension increases, and on healthcare
It was mentioned that no promises have been made, well they have. The spanish give have and the Uk govt have, especially on healthcare
There’s a bit of fine tuning to occur but do we always have to look at it so negatively?
What’s been done to maintain our security here in a no deal situation is so far, very positive and if the withdrawal deal finally gets accepted then there’s even more security
Let’s just try and see light instead of dark

Looking at everything with rose coloured spectacles and hoping for the best does not help..

Only the truth helps... and the truth is... NOTHING has been decided ..except the governments are hoping for things..

That is all....

Feeling positive about our continuing status here is not looking through rose colored glasses is a reaction based on the facts to date
Both the Uk and Spanish governments have made legal moves to maitain our healthcare, they’re now in place, that bit is assured
Our voting rights in Spain have now assured
Pensions are assured, pension increases yet to be fully confirmed but they will be
I really do rather tend to be a bit more positive than some here, but remainers do tend to be negative, it tends to suits their agenda to look through a glass darkly

From the Spanish government website
THE HEALTH CARD, PRESCRIPTIONS AND MEDICAL HISTORY I now have a health card and am eligible to receive healthcare services if I need them. What will happen after withdrawal? Will I be able to receive treatment?
With an agreement

Holders of a health card have will retain their rights, unless specific bilateral agreements are adopted between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Spain.

Without an agreement

If you have a Health Card (Tarjeta Sanitaria) issued by the Spanish National Health System, it is because you meet legally established criteria under Spanish law to be eligible for the card. Your individual situation will not change because the United Kingdom is not part of the EU.
If you do not have a Spanish health card, the same criteria will apply as those established by Royal Decree Law 7/2018 of 27 July on universal access to the Spanish National Health System.

I will only be happier when it's signed and sealed. At the moment it's just promises.

Mentioning the truth is not being negative...

Saying things are decided and WILL happen is untrue...

You can believe the truth, or you can believe untruths... your choice..
