I think they are saying that the UK Government is scaremongering, by airing the following on their gov.uk website:-

Pensions after Brexit
The UK government will continue to pay a State Pension to those eligible in the EU after Brexit. Your UK State Pension will be uprated in April 2020, 2021 and 2022 if you live in the EU, EEA or Switzerland.

This has been on the Gov.uk website since October and maybe before, including the article about healthcare.
So this is not new. jpeg is a remainer.

And this is ten months old regarding healthcare. Again nothing new. !!

We’ve had some questions from UK state pensioners (S1 form holders) about how their healthcare cover will be affected after we leave the EU. Here’s what you (and any S1 dependents) need to know about the future of your healthcare cover:

· S1 form holders who have moved to Spain before 31st December 2020 will continue to have life-long healthcare rights provided they remain registered as resident in Spain.

· This means access to healthcare in Spain will not change for those S1 form holders for as long as they remain resident in Spain.

· Remember that as an S1 form holder, if you visit the UK you will still be able to access free NHS care when temporarily visiting England, Scotland and Wales, as you can now.

Dear Simmo96, can you state the source of this helpful information , preferably with a link to the source? You seem to be quoting from somewhere, but you don't say where. Thank you

Seems to be quoting from a Facebook page called Brits is Spain, quoting from the Embassy in Madrid..

The subject is not on the Embassy website. nor the .GOV website so, unless I am shown otherwise it looks to be false..

It is quoting from the British Embassy in Madrid..

Looks like a con..

Remainers don`t like any positive or good news so class it all as a con.

But I have to draw your attention to one of the comments on the their Facebook page.

The terms of the Withdrawal Agreement have already been settled - they're right there for everyone to read, and they do include S1 cover, for life, for all state pensioners who fall under the scope of the WA. Once ratified, that right will remain in place regardless of whether a trade deal is reached, as long as the beneficiary maintains their residency in their EU27 host state.

That site is a Facebook site that is a scam..it pretends to be quoting from the UK Embassy in Madrid but it is not mentioned on the Embassy website..

Try looking up the subject..

Remainer or not a remainer, the truth is what we need...
