Voting for pigs in pokes comes to mind... no only do the voting public not have a clue what they voted for... neither does the Brexit Secretary....
Crazy...
Well I know what I voted for...to leave the EU, had I voted to stay I would have had no idea what nonsense the EU would come up with next:clap:

We who voted to leave knew exactly what we wanted.
We are not anti European...we like our neighbours in Spain, France , Germany , Italy, Poland etc. etc.
We want to trade with them and them with us.
We want to travel freely between all European countries, accepting one cannot just take up residence and apply for any local benefits willy nilly.
We want our own Parliament to make our laws, and our taxes to go to our government.
We want our own judiciary to make judgements on us,according to our laws.
We want EU countries to decide how they run their laws, taxes, defence government etc. as they see fit, just as UK will.
In short we want to be European, but not in the EU entity...just as we were before we joined.
We can achieve all this...but if not, we Leavers know there are alternatives, and we will take them.
InI the words of that famous singer, whose name escapes me...."We will Survive"!
And to quote Beau Geste..."Courage! Mes Braves!"
And of course, if all else fails, we will send a Gunboat!

So you want to be in the EU but dont want the UK in? Cake and eat it. The gunboat may be needed for Gibraltar and if the Spanish arent happy they may throw out any Brits that voted for UK to leave the EU. who knows.

Although I understand Reginaldo's points.
If you accept that the EU is a club of soon to be 27 countries, just as any other club, Golf, Football. Dance etc, they have rules and you pay a subscription fee to enjoy the benefits they provide, if you do not you cannot enjoy the benefits of the club. and, cannot go there.
This Uk attitude is that we want all the good bits, but none of the responsibilities that go with being a member.
As far as the democracy card, unelected PM, sack the Judges, Get rid of the house of Lords, in fact get rid of anybody or anything that does not agree with Brexit, I ,have said it before, that is mob rule.
I do not how old you are, but, I was in business many many years ago, and it was very difficult, so the phrase just as it use to be just does not wash, took nearly 12 months to sort out a small business.

This 'unelected pm' has been used so often by people who know that we don't elect a pm and that it's the ruling party that does
Why do the remainers constantly bring up this hoary old chestnut, do they think it has any validity?

I usually find the "Yes it's going to be tough but we'll get through it" brigade are usually retired but expect the younger generation to do the "surviving" with one arm tied behind their backs.
It will have to be a Gunboat as we can't really ask the French if we can borrow their Aircraft Carrier, can we?

Well if Ms Le Penn gets in I expect we will have no problem getting anything we want, and as to these worthless pensioners you talk about..would they be the same ones who fought the **** so the next generation could be free
