No Flo, it's the majority that were too young or not yet born to fight. It's the ones that benefited from relative peace especially from within Europe and the one's that were able to retire to warmer climates without being worried about healthcare.

Yes I expect that you are correct Linkwater, so the people who have prospered through world peace [such as it is] are the ones that are leaving the younger generation to sort it out....would this be the 64% of young people who didnt take the trouble to vote in the referendum....my quote is from the Independent newspaper......
Yet, it has been estimated that only 36 per cent of people in the 18 – 24 year old category voted in the EU referendum. 64 per cent of young people did not bother to take themselves down to the polling station and cast their ballot.

Sums up perfectly the dissolution felt by the young. It doesn't alter the fact that they are going to have to sort the mess but without the opportunities offered by working throughout Europe that we have had.

Its a funny old world Linkwater, society changes, todays young people are very different to the young people of our generation. They have different ideals and motivations, I could not say if one is right or wrong.I always believed [and still do] that we can bring about change.I along with others marched against war in Vietnam, todays youth seem less interested, unless its violent protest.[and that is only a small minority, ]
I believe that Brexit will be fine and I dont think that there will be any hardship, it is in the interest of both parties to get a sensible working deal.I am full of optimism.
