And how many policies in their last manifestos have either of the 2 main parties adhered to?

Well here’s a challenge, seeing how you’re critiquing the two main parties, how many have they not, adhered too and we’ll start a debate from there?

Yes, but having a leader that`s electable does help.

But if push come to shove and I could vote, it wouldn`t be Corbyn ... and that`s without ever speaking to him !!
So, Mr McCann, you’ve actually LIVED in Spain for 25 years?
Seems to me you add a year to that figure every time you mention it.

In any group, company, organisation etc the tone of said group comes from the top... If you have a great leader the group can accomplish great things...
If you have a bad leader your group will have either no, or bad direction..
so the leader DOES matter..

I'm been a lifelong Conservative but for the first time ever I wont be voting in the election.
Why, I don't trust a single word which drips from the mouth of Boris or any of his cult but since my constituency is rock solid Conservative and voted around 2:1 to leave in the referendum (large population of coffin dodgers) the chances of unseating the encumbent MP are absolutely nil making any sort of protest or tactical voting utterly pointless.

Oh I've no idea, I'm not that deeply into politics, I was playing devil's advocate. But it's a well publicised fact that all parties promise all sorts of enticements at election time to draw the voters in, but then don't keep them.

The reason politicians lie is because we say it is okay for politicians to lie.
And that is the fault of the electorate.
It seems we don´t really care about the lies parties spout.
We say "it´s only Boris, .. he always lies.."... or "It`s Corbyn, we can´t trust him,.."..
Well the reason we don`t trust the politicians is that we ACCEPT lies.. We should DEMAND honesty... or vote them out. If your candidate for your seat tells bare faced lies... and you vote him in again next time... who`s fault is it if he lies again?
Get a grip people... DEMAND honesty... you have the power of your vote..
