A heavy police presence was seen close to the Cenotaph in Whitehall, which was cordoned off as clashes broke out.
Demonstrators carrying placards with the slogans No to Boris Johnson, No to Racism and Defy Tory Rule cried out 'Oh Jeremy Corbyn' and let off red smoke flares during angry protests."
What do these morons hope to achieve by doing this?
Pathetic
And most of the placards are supplied by the Socialist Worker.
Any trouble and rest assured that lowlife commie rag is at the bottom of it. !!

It would be better if the Tories paid the Labour party to keep Corbyn as leader..
..without Corbyn the election could have been much different... as it might well be next time..

It would have been much different, but the Labour Party should have foreseen that a long time ago.
They knew he was a liabilty but did nothing about it.
I doubt if they would have won but it would have been very close and at least it wouldn`t have been such humiliating defeat.

They haven’t said state pensions paid overseas will be frozen, don't where you dug that one up from ?.......
Take the time to read this, it featured in many publications around the time. Had you read this and the other stuff, you might have had a little more perspective
https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/pensions/article-7416181/No-deal-Brexit-commitment-uprate-UK-expat-state-pensions-2023.html
Read it, it talks about a no deal brexit which isn’t going to happen
Here’s an extract
I guess it’s you who needs to read a little more carefully
- British pensioners currently have their pension boosted if they live in the EU
- However there was doubt over whether this would carry on after a no-deal Brexit
- Work and pensions secretary Amber Rudd announced that the state pension would be upped by at least 2.5% until 2023
- The government said it planned to negotiate new arrangements during this time

There’s no earthly reason to think medicines will cost more
They haven’t said state pensions paid overseas will be frozen, don't where you dug that one up from ?
Why would anybody go back to the UK because the cost of living rose by 5% and, again, where did that come from ?
No deals in place ? We don’t need deals yet as there’s a transition period until Dec 2020 and, contrary to your comments, there are several ‘carry over’ deals that can come into effect directly after the transition period
Much of our trade (around 42%) as you say, is with the EU, now tell me why should that change? The EU wants to trade with the worlds 5th largest economy, why wouldn’t they, it’s an aspect of trade with the EU that seems to get forgotten
We’re not going to go back to the EU ‘cap in hand’ I don’t know why you say that, we buy more off the EU than they buy from the UK, they certainly want to to nothing to damage that deal do they ?
I fail to understand your negativity here
As John Lennon wisely said, there are no problems, only solutions
Now, come back to this forum in a few years and let’s see how it’s all worked out eh ?
.
.
If the UK has to take American drugs to get a US trade deal medicines could rise significantly.
Pensions have only been guaranteed to rise as it does in the UK until 2023.
If they are not uplifted if the Cost of Living in Spain rises by 5% the pension won´t be so in effect the pensioners will have had a 5% reduction in income.. and after 5 years.. it will be 25% reduction.. Can you imagine the uproar if that happened in the UK?
There will obviously be trade deals with the EU... but tariffs will be placed on certain goods... it will not be as easy to trade because the UK will have to ensure the standards are the same as the EU... for instance, the EU will not accept meat from the US.. therefore they will not accept foodstuffs containing US meat.. etc..
The UK can trade with the rest of the world... but that does not mean they will get a better deal... every country wants a "good deal" so the UK may have WORSE deals than now..
So there are concerns--- people should see this, not just poo poo it..
.
Mondo, pension rises were guaranteed until 2023 under a no deal brexit, that’s clear. We’re not having a no deal brexit
The EU standards the UK currently complies with can be maintained, what’s the problem there ?
Why would the UK export foodstuffs containing US meat to the EU ??
Why did you raise the issue of trade deals to the test of the world being possibly worse, isn’t that just being unreasonably negative ?
Remember the size of the UK market is something many countries look forward to accessing so it’s in their interests to make the deal favourable
Let’s just cut the negativity, it’s xmas

National Debt is nearly TWO TRILLION...
Homeless people are dying in the streets, young people can´t afford a house, there are more food banks than McDonalds in the UK, personal debt is in crisis, people are being treated on the floor in hospitals.. and no one knows what the risks of Brexit are (well, not quite true, the Tories know but darn't tell anyone)
But the millionaires are going to be looked after by Boris.. so that`s okay.. ...

Probably the worst rant yet from Mondo and full of lies, maybe you should become a politician too ?

Jillandsteve - The forum is technically a social media platform, and, like so many others, it is fuelling hatred.
Yes - the forum provides very useful information a lot of the time, but unfortunately I guess we have to accept that (as I've said before) in this "inclusive" world in which we live, there is more hatred and incitement than ever before, generally whipped up by those who haven't got their own way, and who refuse to accept the views of others.

(from jilland steve).
There is no agreement about what happens after 2023...none at all..
The EU standards the UK currently complies with can be maintained, what’s the problem there ?
The UK has said it would reduce health and safety rules and other employment rules.. the EU will demand companies keep the same standard..if not, no trade..
Why would the UK export foodstuffs containing US meat to the EU ??..
It is likely that a trade deal between the US and the UK will involve importing US meat..and the UK exporting meat pies, sausages etc that contain US meat will not be allowed in the EU..and will the UE trust the UK to only use EU or UK meat?.. I wouldn`t
Why did you raise the issue of trade deals to the rest of the world being possibly worse, isn’t that just being unreasonably negative ?
No it is being realistic.. why just mention the best of things?, life is a two sided coin..assuming the best all the time is unrealistic
..
Remember the size of the UK market is something many countries look forward to accessing so it’s in their interests to make the deal favourable
The UK does not manufacture as much as it used to.. and any country will want to buy cheap... why would they not?
Let’s just cut the negativity, it’s xmas
Happy Christmas..

Ok
One, you’re assuming pensions won’t rise however, that’s not a given so let’s wait and see
Two, the government have not said they’ll reduce health and safety rules and other employment rules, that’s just Labour Party lies and propaganda
Three, that’s a broad assumption to think there’ll be US meat in pies etc, that’s just stretching things a bit isn’t it ??
Four, again you assume trade deals with the rest of the world will be worse than we have now, there’s totally, zero evidence for that, that’s just pure Guesswork, pure negativity
Five, I was talking about the UK being the worlds 5th largest economy, a nation of consumers, a market many countries want access to so yes, they will want to offer reciprocal deals to access the Uk market
Lastly, yes let’s cut the negativity, let’s think solutions not problems, imagine as John Lennon said

Mondo says that the Govt. has said it will reduce heath & safety rules and other employment rules.
And Mondo believes that the Govt. are liars.
Then by default, doesn't that mean that Mondo DOESN'T believe that the Govt. will reduce health & safety rules???
