Mondo has gone from trying to pursuade people not to vote Tory to telling people how stupid they were that they did.
I wasn`t interested in what he had to say before 12 December and I`m even less interested now. ;)
I`d rather be a happy Tory than miserable Socialist any day.
Although I used to be a happy Socialist. :)

Mondo said the EU will not allow imports containing US sourced meat
Wrong ! The EU and USA have recently signed an agreement that will allow 18,500 tonnes of US meat to exported to the EU
Mondo said getting good trade deals post brexit will be difficult
Wrong, the UK has already signed 20 continuity deals with 50 countries that rolls over 3/4 of existing EU trade deals
Just do some checking before posting

And Mondo believes that the Govt. are liars.

Then by default, doesn't that mean that Mondo DOESN'T believe that the Govt. will reduce health & safety rules???

This is doing my head in...

One, you’re assuming pensions won’t rise however, ( I did not say that... please read what I wrote) that’s not a given so let’s wait and see

Two, the government have not said they’ll reduce health and safety rules and other employment rules, that’s just Labour Party lies and propaganda (No it's not)

Three, that’s a broad assumption to think there’ll be US meat in pies etc, that’s just stretching things a bit isn’t it ??
(No, it is a best guess... the UK want to deal with Trump... Trump has already said he wanted the UK to buy American Meat products)
Four, again you assume trade deals with the rest of the world will be worse than we have now,(no, I said it was not automatically going to be better.. I said. The UK can trade with the rest of the world... but that does not mean they will get a better deal... every country wants a "good deal" so the UK may have WORSE deals than now...Note the word MAY) there’s totally, zero evidence for that, that’s just pure Guesswork, pure negativity

Five, I was talking about the UK being the worlds 5th largest economy, a nation of consumers, a market many countries want access to so yes, they will want to offer reciprocal deals to access the Uk market
Lastly, yes let’s cut the negativity, let’s think solutions not problems, imagine as John Lennon said

If you are going to mention my posts please read them first..

Happy Christmas

Mondo, let’s all wait a while, see how brexit pans out, how Boris as PM will work etc and reflect in a year at least
We’re all commenting from what we think is true but sometimes isn’t ( US meat exports to the EU ?)
So, let’s just wait and see

One election down. one indi ref to follow soon, I for one hope that Boris and co can stop the poison dwarf !st minister of Scotland having another "once in a generation" referendum. I always thought as as first minister you couldn't get a worse prat than Salmond, How wrong I was.
