My children who are both in professional work (Finance and University, both of which could be adversely affected) were completely devastated with the 'leave' result, as was I for them.
However over the last week or so even they are saying to me to stay positive because there is nothing we can do about it and they are hoping that eventually our government will not let us down and make the best of what could be a bad situation.

None of us really know what will happen... and possibly it won't be as bad as it seems now!

Anything is possible!

Quite possibly you might be right and maybe not. A brave new world just a pity we don't have a road map !! If I were a youngster I would be advocating swinging the three amigos from a lamp post.

Lets hope Teresa May gets the PM job as the least worst option.

I can't believe people voted out without seeing what they are voting for and having enough negotiators to make the changes.
Some people should be charged with incompetence.

If you think its going to be cheaper in the uk then go!
If the Pension has dropped 15% then we can spend a little less, drink a little less and smoke a little less, if you do
I remember, when first married, living on a peanut salary but we just adjusted our budget to suit. I'm sure we can all cope with a little less to spend until the dust settles

Great who said anything about it being cheaper in UK - please keep your dippy advice to yourself.

I have been through the hard times thank you. Why in heavens name should we live on peanuts just to satisfy the ambitions of three loony bampots who I can guarantee you will not be feeling the pinch in the slightest.

Your reply is aggressive rude and uncalled for , because someone expresses an opinion that differs from your own you assume you have the right to be aggressive towards them ,that's not on.

Ok you find my response rude and uncalled for I find your advice condescending, patronising and quite frankly dippy. Why should I want to go back to UK and why should I want to make things much more difficult for the younger generation?

Maybe instead of taking offence you can advise everyone what there is to be positive about !! That might be helpful.
