What scaremongering?
by Glassfull » Sun Jan 17, 2021 10:51 am
“Scaremongering”, it was the stock answer to any reasonable reason to remain in the EU. The word was used by Leavers in the absence of any real answer or argument. I bit like a child sticking its fingers in its ears and chanting, “La la la la la”. But the warnings were true, very true and as we stumble forward, to our ‘new greatness’, more examples will emerge.

Me thinks anyone who not only reads but also believes what is printed in the guardian is likely to also believe that the moon is made of green cheese

Yes
The only ones to blame for this situation is the people that voted to leave.
Now it’s done we just have to live with and accept what will be will be.

But was an exporter that was complaining about the paperwork and costs. The Guardian only reported it

No, the country has to realise the mistake and set about reversing the situation

I don’t disagree but unfortunately the decision is made right or wrong and we can’t go back .
Onwards and hopefully upwards .

You need to get over it Glassful, look at the bigger picture, do some research and you’ll realise what a chance the U.K. has.

You can’t really research something that does not exist.

Usual rubbish from a remainer.
Like virtually all things, there will be winners and loosers. The report highlights one looser but there will also be many winners, including GB in the long term.
Remember this is an article in a very anti brexit, anti Tory newspaper which has been bias throughout.
Brexit is done. Start living with it and plan for the future, which in the long term will be positive.
The EU as it stands is crumbling and more will leave before it collapses completely.
