Can you give a kitten a forever home ?
Can you give a kitten a forever home ?

Can you give a home to a kitten ?
We are asking for help to find homes for five kittens born under our garden shed 7 or 8 weeks ago.
We only discovered them 3 weeks ago, they are all very healthy and their mother is a healthy young feral cat and has been very attentive to the kittens.
We do not know much about cats in general and kittens in particular so we are on a fast learning curve right now..!
We have been able to capture the mother with the help of a trap cage from a local charity and get her sterilised, de-wormed and ear tipped.
We are feeding the kittens 3 times a day and working to socialise them as they are nervous little things at the moment. They are eating and drinking well and are all using a litter tray. They are no longer being fed by their mothers milk, they are eating tinned kitten food plus dry complete kitten food.
We will adopt the mother ourselves in as much as she´s living under our shed now anyway with her kittens and we are feeding her and she is just starting to accept us being in “her garden” but the kittens we just cannot keep.
Three of the kittens are silver tabbies and two are black. One tabby and the larger black (male) kitten have shorter than usual tails like their mother.
The other black kitten was the smallest of the litter and was struggling but it is now the bravest of them all, first in the queue at mealtimes and putting on weight really well, we think its a female but not sure at the moment. It has a lovely placid temperament and is simply adorable.
I have posted photos of the five kittens and given a brief description for the purpose of identifying them, we have not given them names.
We live in Quesada, If you are able to share this post with any local cat charities then we would be most grateful as we have not been living here long and we don't know what's around the area in terms of support for animals.
If you are in a position to adopt one of the kittens or know of someone who is looking for a kitten then please private message me and we can discuss.
Thank you for taking the time to read.
Paul.
In the photo, clockwise from the top we have...White shoulders tabby, short tail tabby, long tail small black, brown shoulders tabby, short tail larger black.
I have a variety of photos and video if you are interested in seeing more.

Welcome to the world of living with six cats! Sorry - can't help as we have six already. But, hey aren't they adorable?

Oh, beautiful little creatures. Let’s hope they find safe loving homes. Well done for helping them survive.
