Hi, I volunteer at the Torrevieja animal municipal pound. They have dogs coming in all the time. Quite a few are staffie or bull terrier types. It would be worth going down to see.They have their own website. There are also many cats and kittens needing homes. Good luck

There are many dog charities here, Pets in Spain being one. They are all listed in the free papers too. I also know people who rescue dogs from kill stations or Perreras as they are called here. If you are on Facebook you can look up Orihuela Pound, not that far away from here, they have hundreds! yes hundreds of dogs in there. The page is called Asoka Orihuela on Facebook. Hope this helps.

Wonder why it has to be a bitch. If it's lonely surely any dog would be company unless you're planning o breeding from them

Many thanks for that if you do get an ebt bitch in i will pay for the vets fees to get her spayed
Not bothered if she has Leshmania our last bitch also had it

Would you be willing to bring one over from the UK. My friend has ties with animal charities and fosters these dogs, I can find out details for you if you want? She says they are the best dogs ever.
