Unwanted feral cats.

Unwanted feral cats.

Postby Phoenix » Sat Sep 04, 2021 1:43 pm

Two kittens have decided to live on my patio & use it & my furniture as a toilet. As I am disabled I cannot catch or look after them, so I need to know who to get help from to remove & rehome them ? During my many years living in Spain, when I was fit I managed to catch & rehome three kittens, but cannot do it now. I have messaged Cats Protection Torrevieja, but they only do sterilisations, not rehoming, so I need some ideas please.

We are bursting at the seams,at the torrevieja animal shelter with cats and kittens and we don't have any foster people. We can't have feral kitten in the shelter as we don't have the staff or time to socialise them so they will be able to be homed ...

It has been a hard year for all the animal charities, all are full and no funds for food or vets bills..and a lot of the charities don't have buildings to house the many cats and kittens dumped or lost.....we do all we can but they is no R.S.P.C.A like in England and Rojales does not have a animal shelter that could take them...
As much as I would like to give you an answer I have none...

We have six kittens in our garden that are an absolute delight, four are nearly five months old, two much younger. I don’t want them rehomed but need help getting them sterilised as they are feral. I’ve contacted one organisation but they didn’t respond, I fully understand why. Thanks for any advice. Carol

Wonder if the vets could give you advice on who could help with getting the cats sterilised. If you don't get a move on you'll have more.
