Sad news

Very sorry to hear this Alex I didn't realise Jan was your Mum.
She will be remembered for all the help she has instigated to people struggling with the differences between life in Spain & the UK.
RIP Jan and thanks for all you have done.

So sorry to hear the sad news, I never met Jan but she was always there to answer any of my questions she will be sadly missed by all.

So sad to hear this news. I remember our early days on here when we moved over from a Yahoo group to the 21st century through Jan's intervention. Those early days we were all finding our feet on 'Gods Little Acre' and this site, under Jan's stewardship helped many many new arrivals. We also had a great Fulham link with added bonus of a street on Lo Malibu being 'named' after Bobby Zamora. Rest peacefully Jan and I am glad that I got to meet you some years ago.

I don't think i had any dealings directly with Jan, but the fact i am here shows she did a great job bringing expats together and sharing their help and experiences.

RIP Jan and really sorry to hear this news.
