TKO Radio added to home page.

Postby Jan » Sun Mar 18, 2012 4:15 pm

Hi everyone,

I've embedded TKO Radio station onto the home page. It's not an advert - I just enjoy listening to the Spanish news, weather and information from around our local area, on my computer, while sitting in chilly Blighty and thought some of you might too.

To keep the radio playing while reading or using the forums, just open a new Tab to TalkQuesada and the radio stays playing on the original Talkquesada home page tab, until you close it

Hope you enjoy it.

Jan.

Yes, we sometimes listen to Sunshine FM (FM 95.6 & 102.8 stereo) too when in Spain, it's just as good as TKO Classic for most things but the music is a bit more 'middle of the road'. There's also TKO Gold. We are radio-ites :geek: and always have the radio on.

Another one we use when in Spain is 'Talk Radio Europe' (105.1fm) which is good for information & general interest programmes, without the music. It has Spanish & English content during the day, BBC World service after midnight and Sport from BBC World service on Saturday afternoons.

Hi Jan/Glyn. We listen to Sunshine FM too. On Saturday's I listen to Radio 5 the sports channel through our TV and sit in front of my laptop watching the scores on Sky. The gaffer mostly reads and goes to sleep.

I actually had E Viva El Fulham played when we were there for the Europa Cup Final. So Jan our task is to get it requested every trip. Can"t recall a Boing Boing Baggie song of such calibre

Doug has that on a 45rpm record - isn't that sad?!. He was slightly annoyed that they didn't play it at the preliminaries of the final in Hamburg, choosing instead to play that old sing-a-long :? "I gotta feeling" by the Black eyed peas. Hardly anyone knew the words, except for the chorus, and poor Diddy David Hamilton was left to chevvy everyone on, by singing along himself. Everyone on the message board was saying, why didn't they use the Fulham national anthem "El viva el Fulham"....Even the Spanish fans would have joined in then  .

Blimey, Diddy David Hamilton. I didn't know he was in the Black Eyed Peas, he must be 100 years old now!
