Last advice was that the LAMP test was not acceptable to the Spanish for travel and only the PCR and now TMA will be accepted as it is not a molecular test procedure.

Some countries, especially N European ones, are accepting the LAMP test which are done at some airports but, as far as I'm aware, not Spain.
Best check with the airline or travel agency on what is acceptable.

Marcliff can you please look at this and advise,This is from Murcia today and the last sentence ( other tests based on equivalent molecular techniques ) seem to say the LAMP test would be OK? My friend is very confused as her son is flying from Manchester to Alicanté and was told it was accepted! Very confusing

My understanding is that the Lamp test is the TMA test. I've not been able to find a private supplier to do this, but I believe they both need to be done by a lab and will probably cost the same. Axiom lab in Devon offer the PCR test for £99 just google them.

As I said, it wasn't accepted before so contact the airline or travel agent. If they say it is acceptable then fine.
If so, that is a lot cheaper and quicker. If the airline says OK then go ahead.
