Bankers Draft charges? Is there a better way to pay?

thanks newchocs for your sentiment !
had a chat with our solicitor, and she can't really help us out.
gonna go for their ins this year to reduce the draft fee but def. not next year
can't really mess about too much ,the 25th is coming up fast, we have got the prop. at a really
good price so will just set the draft fee against that.
iam looking forward to our new adventure in this lovely part of spain and thank you all for
your help and good wishes !
hopefully i will be a regular poster on this excellent website once we get our bearings
and I'm sure we will make new friends

Can anyone with experience of bankers drafts answer:
If you already have cleared euro funds in your Spanish bank account is it normal (or possible?) to stroll into your bank without prior notice and request a bankers draft there and then, for a fee of course?
