Cajamurcia/BMN Contacts
Cajamurcia/BMN Contacts

Hi Everyone,
This may be a long shot but i'd be most grateful if anyone could respond if they know an email contact for the branch manager of the Cajamurcia/BMN bank branch in Guardamar or indeed an email contact for a good English speaking member of staff from same branch.
My whole experience of dealing with this bunch of rogues since opening an account in March has been one of never-ending let downs. They gave me incorrect details for accessing online banking. They were less than helpful in attempting to sort it out telling me “You'll just have to come into the branch” despite residing in Scotland.
I am now at the point of trying to arrange a bankers draft with them and obviously need to transfer over a large sum of money to do so. I just can't trust them not to make an immense mess of the whole process. I have contacted telephone banking who told me to contact the branch – I have tried to call the branches in both Guardamar and Rojales on numerous occasions and never had an answer. I finally tried to contact the member of staff (one with attitude and I should have walked) who originally opened my account and guess what – two emails in past week and no reply.
I really have made my first big Spanish mistake by opening and account with this branch.
Perhaps an email address for a friendly English speaking member of staff from the Rojales branch would be able to assist me. Any help on offer would be warmly welcomed. Many thanks.

Be aware that if you do one large transaction you it will normally cost you it is usually better to do several smaller ones so make sure you check.

The email address for the manager of the BMN branch in Rojales is [email protected] , phone number is 966 715 480 .
Be aware they will charge you when you transfer a large sum of money into your account and they will charge you for a bankers draft , should you need one ( maximum charge 150 Euros ). Good luck .

Thanks Guys,
The information is very helpful. And Billyboy, very useful having Laura's info. Despite being registered with another branch she will hopefully be able to assist me in some way. I'll try contacting Laura before I give up.
I was aware of the possibilities of large transfers and hence wanted to sort matters in advance of our property purchase thereby giving me time to make a some transfers below the 50k mark. I actually opened account with Cajamurcia due to a tie in with Moneycorp waiving transfers and fees for a year and being able to draw a bankers draft for a one off €100.
Still no response from Miss Guardamar de Cajamurcia as we type.
Thank you once again.

We also bank with BMN. Originally opened our account in Algorfa this branch closed and our account along with the Manager moved to Dolores. The Manager now in Almoradi and speaks a little English. We had a call from someone in Dolores who does speak English! We no longer get any bank charges as we transfer money over from the UK every month via World First Foreign Exchange no charges. We don't get charged for the debit cards provided we use each card 9 times within a 3 month period. Keep an eye on your statement though as they charged us 25 euros for each card this month even though we had used the cards the required amount. When this was pointed out they were very quick to refund the 50 euros!

Thanks to everyone for their input.
Unfortunately my quest for a response from BMN Cajamurcia goes on. It has been going on for a number of months now but over the past eight days I have directly called both Guardamar and Rojales BMN branches on numerous occasions, the telephone has never been answered. Also in the past 8 days I have sent 6 emails pleading for some help - 2 for our staff contact at Guardamar, 1 each for the attention of the office managers at Guardamar and Rojales branches and 2 to Laura Gonzalez Mora at the Rojales branch. Both of Laura’s emails have been viewed via read receipt but we have still had no response from her.
We did manage to contact a pleasant English speaking member of their telephone banking team who finally managed to recover our online access but could not assist us with arranging a banker’s draft. We explained all the problems we had encountered and she seemed unsurprised - but assured us we would still have to deal direct with the branch.
On accessing our online account for the first time we noticed they had taken €15.00 in maintenance charges despite agreeing with us prior to opening the account that we had Moneycorp Client Offer privileges meaning no charges for the first 12 months.
I am utterly appalled at the lack of customer service I have encountered since opening the BMN account in March 2015. We have been trying to get a response for some months now so it can’t just be “August Shutdown” related. They may be helpful on a local level but other than myself being downright unlucky thus far I would have to warn people to think twice about opening accounts with this bank.
We are genuinely worried now as we fly over on Sat 26/09 and visit the notary on Mon 28/09 to finalise and take possession of the property. We can’t afford to transfer the property funds in advance only for them not to carry out our instructions.
Sorry to be back clutching at straws but does anyone have any other last gasp suggestions or recommendations or other contacts?
Many thanks once again.
