Debit Money Cards- Best Value info required

Have decided that a debit money card ordered from the UK putting in £'s and drawing out Euros may be a safe way to carry money in Spain and France
I understand that most of these cards are backed by Mastercard.
Checking on line it becomes a minefield, but I have recommendations from friends to use, We Swap.com/or Transferwise.com
who both give full exchange rates when adding £'s sterling, but have small hidden fees which appear daunting to me.
I would welcome any info from the Forum on which, in their honest opinion is the best card to use with the best exchange rate and the minimum fees.
I have 4 days in which to decide so would welcome speedy info.

If you're anywhere near a Santander ATM in Spain I would recommend a UK Santander account. Qualifying Santander accounts can access money from their UK account without any charges at any Santander ATM in mainland Spain. You also get the bank rate......Just remember to push the "without conversion" button when withdrawing your money.

We've used this for many years.

I use Revolut, find it excellent

Have a look at a starling account. You can have a euro account linked and banking is free with good exchange rates
