Hidraqua and Wise bank

Hidraqua and Wise bank

Postby lllkb01 » Wed May 25, 2022 4:24 pm

I'm in the process of moving my direct debits to Wise bank and I'm having problems with the one for Hidraqua.
Hidraqua's online form requires 20 numbers after the 2 country letters and the 2 check digits. My Wise account details are one number short. I've had an online chat with Wise and they're getting back to me. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, what's the solution?
Thanks

Hi.

Go to this address, click on the "Download the SEPA mandate" link towards the bottom of the page.

https://www.hidraqua.es/autorizaciones

Fill in the form, scan it, and send it to Hidraqua.

They acted on mine within 24 hours.

Good luck!

I had the same problem.
I made an appointment on line to visit their branch in Rojales, they did it for me in about 5 minutes.

Good info, I am considering doing the same.. just one question on the wise account, are there any atms that don’t charge for taking cash out with a wise card?

If your card is registered to your Spanish address you can use the BBVA ATM in Rojales for free (maybe others too). The machine will tell you that your card provider may charge you about €2, but they don't. If you have the card registered to a UK address the chances are you'll be charged €5-€7 per transaction, which applies to most UK registered bank cards since Brexit.

Deutsche Bank don't charge, but remember only €200 per month free from Wise.
