Hi All,

Has anyone been successful in completing the new digital signature on Sabadell bank which has just been introduced to get rid of the little cards for authorising transactions.

Tried today but would not work due to UK telephone number.

I am having a similar problem. I have the Sabadell app on both my smartphones and can access my accounts with no problem. However, it is impossible to access the new Digital Signature service. I keep getting the error message "Unfortunately Banc Sabadell has stopped"
I wonder if this is because I am in the UK, but then the whole purpose of this digital signature service is to replace the coordinates card!!Finding it rather frustrating and hope someone out there can help!!

Digital Signature has a big weakness called Sim Swap.If fraudsters get in to your account and request a replacement SIM from phone provider sent to them this enables them to transfer money. I checked my company, Masmovil, and they are aware of the problem and have checks in place.. Sabadell didnt reply to my inquiry concerning the problem. I preferred the card. Google Sim Swap fraud to see more of problem.

Yes, I'm having the same problem. Been trying for days. Assuming it is because I'm in the UK. Sent an email to the Bank and have had no response. I sent a request for a callback today and got the response that someone will be in touch soon. Let's hope it is Mañana :-). Hopefully they have become aware of the issue and will put some patch in place.

Try using a different browser.I.e. if using Chrome then go in through internet explorer. I used to have this problem with LA Caixa bank, but now is OK.

I can't see what the problem is by using the numbered card. I have bought a new property recently and used it many times to transfer funds to my Lawyer and also utility companies, " If it aint broken don't try to fix it".

Finally sorted mine used the phone number on site,got a link sent and no problem then,used my c/card next day then had a notification i,d spent money straight away,hopefully pretty good i thought.

I had the following reply from Sabadell.....and can report THAT IT WORKS!!!

With regard to your email, we would like to inform you that in order to activate your Digital Signature, you will have to activate first the Notifications and Alerts Service.
1.Log in
2.See all options
3.SMS Alerts
4.Alert Service Subscription
