Santander

I appreciate it's no consolation to those struggling with Sabadell etc. however the problems are not confined to Spain!
I noticed Santander had an attractive rate for a Cash Isa so I went online to transfer an existing Cash Isa to Santander.
Unfortunately for some reason I was unable to download the necessary form so ended up having to drive to my nearest branch to seek help.
After queuing for approx 20 mins as only one teller was available I was told she could not give me the necessary form and that I would need to see an advisor. The bad news was that the first available appointment was in 17 days time!
Needless to say I did not take up their offer.
The next time I have to queue in the Sabadell Cam branch in Quesada I perhaps will not feel so frustrated!

I haven't had to queue yet on the three occasions I've been in to the Santander branch at The Arches.

They've been most helpful and hopefully continue to be so.

Maybe I was unlucky with the UK branch? Hopefully for you Jon it does not change at The Arches when Quesada gets busier. I have to say that staff numbers have been reduced certainly at Sabadell beside La Laguna Hotel since it was taken over from Cam.
I really try to do as much business online now as possible and in fairness I find their new App works well for me. ( fingers crossed)
