Spanish Tax Returns

Spanish Tax Returns

Postby Nigma » Sat Feb 08, 2014 6:44 pm

I need to change my Spanish Tax Accountant as my current one is just hopeless at supplying information and replying to emails.

Can anyone please recommend someone to prepare and submit quarterly returns of rental income and allowable expenses for a non-resident owner? Our villa is in Quesada so a firm nearby would be convenient but even Torrevieja would be OK so long as they give a good service (and have good English).

Thanks for your help.

We use Andy Garcia from http://www.nonresidenttaxes.com/

Very efficient, excellent English if needed, am sure he could do what you need.

I think it's extremely important that a Fiscal representative is easily contactable by email and also can supply information in English, as well as Spanish.

There are lots of Abagado's around the area but , as with a lot of Spanish companies, they may not all be as computer savvy as they might say they are. Check they have a good website for a start and then try contacting them through the website, ask a few questions and see what you think of how quickly they answer them and if they give you exactly the answer(s) you need before signing up to them.

We have used Abaco as our Fiscal rep for about 8 years and find them very helpful and their email service is brilliant. They also have an 'on-line office' for their clients, so we can see everything that's been paid and what's due and more. They always get back to answer questions very quickly.

I am always aware that we are all different and most people will recommend someone but in the end it all comes down to personal choice - Here's a link to the Abaco website which may help:
