I am told the Spanish website can be switched to English. Can anyone tell me how to do this on an IPad ?

Amazon.es does not have an option for changing the language. It is all in Spanish unlike, for example, the Amazon.de site which does have that option.

I have no idea how to do it on an iPad so you would have to get help from Apple. On Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge etc with Windows you can change virtually any foreign language to English. Either by clicking the options and automatically translating it or by right clicking the mouse and changing to English.

I use Google Chrome and first clicked the option to offer to change language and then the option to always translate Spanish to English. That means any Spanish page, not just Amazon, comes up in English.

I do believe you can download the Microsoft translator app for the iPad and do it that way but I don't have one so haven't tried it.

I have iPad Pro. Type in google.es. Top left of page gives choice of Spanish or English. Type in the item that you want, eg. Lawn mower and the description comes up in Spanish, just tap english again in top left. Add your selection to cart (anadir a la cesta). If it switches back to Spanish just select English again. I’m running iOS 13.3.1

Sorry but which OS you use cannot possibly change a web site's language.

It may look like it to you but be assured that however translation is taking place it will be a function of your device.

I haven’t said that my ios version is changing the language, I just put it there to show that I was also on an iPad and for info purposes. If you look at my other post with picture it clearly shows amazon.es in English.

My experience is that I can NEVER change the language as I only work with an I pad pro, I’ve been told , even by shops theirselves, that you can only change language if you work with a computer…, BUT all your comments helped me as well, thanks
