android box show box freezing

Hi, We have an android box with show box movies on and it has started freezing. Can anyone help or suggest a different one.

Most likely due to speed of internet you need at least a true speed of 6 mbps what box are you using

Hi we have at least 10 m and the other app and the TV are fine.

janetl I also have a android box with Showbox, Modbro,on among others and the guy i got mine from said any freezing etc unplug your router and box for 1 minute as they get clogged up, and that clears them in fact he says do that once a week. try that.

Trying clearing your cache and data.Showbox hasnt been working properly for two weeks.Its all seeding of films and playing up.My friend in Germany is having same problems.

Showbox is not working properly, try megabox or terrarium.

Showbox is now downloading the program instead of streaming

You can get freezing in Kodi streams in general - issue is the amount of users on servers using streams is not policed or managed - so you can be trying to watch football on a server capable of 2000 streams, with 10,000+ people trying to hop on, so no matter how fast your internet is - you will see buffering or stuttering.

A well-hosted or managed solution - the service provider should balance the number of users to the server and as the service grows, so does the amount of servers so the load is balanced and service stay stable as the userbase grows. Kodi does not work this way. As services/apps have more users, there is no defined expansion overall service dips over time, has gotten progressively more unstable as more users jump on streams of servers which are being asked at times to exceed their maximum capacity.

Try going into settings apps Showbox force stop clear cache 6 reopen. If that doesnt work uninstall & reinstall in google type simply kodi that has install links to lots of other similar apps easily installed.

I went online and found a solution to my problems, it was, I remember correctly, a youtube entry. But please check itbefore you do anything.
It was a reset, you have to reload all your platforms, I.e. mobdro, showbox etc.
I found the reset in the settings of my tv box.
They recommended you do this every 6/8 months.
