Does anyone know what size dish I would need to pick up the FTA channels on Astra at 19.2 degrees?

I'm in Marquesa Golf.

Thanks

Above is for 28.2 - for 19 degrees east signal is much stronger - a 60cm should do it, though would usually recommend going a little over and going for an 80-90cm for this.

Hi Glassman - I don't have step by step instructions specifically for a 5-year-old receiver - but what we do have is a generic set of instructions which should be sufficient for this.

https://www.televisiontechnology.eu/how ... e-receiver read in detail - as channel 4 has it's ident removed, so won't even blind scan in - on the link also shows how to check and add in manually & where to find the frequencies, for any specific channel, to scan in individually.

If after the blind scan, you are missing any channels, you can do a manual scan on a specific frequency (shown on link), after that if channel/s still missing, then you are into the realms of signal missing or weak. Judging by the satellite receiver you have mentioned being (guessing) around 5 years or older, if the dish installation was done at the same, it may simply be time for retune/check over - dish may have moved a little over time.

There has also been some strange weather pattern with Solar storms, which may have had a small impact. You can review the article link on our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/televisiontechnology
