BROADBAND & MOBILE PHONE CONTRACT PROVIDERS

Hello

I am travelling back to Spain shortly and will be setting up an office at home as I am self-employed and will be delivering an on-line service to UK based professionals. I need any advice/recommendations/suggestions to get hold of the following resources:

• Reliable and powerful broadband/internet service
• Suggestions for a good mobile phone provider with reliable signal for making calls to and from the UK

If there is anyone who is in a similar position and could give recommendations/suggestions for reliable providers then please let me know?

Reception varies from area to area. It would be helpful if you could specify a location.

Assuming you want fibre broadband you'll be limited to the suppliers which have installed cable on your street, so best check that out with your neighbours first. We're very happy with the service we get from Telfy if you can get that - 300Mbps for €24,14 per month.

Regarding mobiles, we have just changed to Finetwork which uses the Vodafone network and includes roaming in the UK. So far so good. We did it (in English) with Daniel Gonzalez via WhatsApp (698984763) and he had us up and running in 3 days (new SIM, same number). Details of available packages at finetwork.com starting at €6,90 per month. They also offer broadband, but not in our area. Whilst you may need a Spanish mobile whilst you're here for other reasons it's as easy to roam on your UK mobile if you're going to be making a lot of calls to the UK (if they'll allow it).

Does Finework get good signal near golf course La Marquesa - at the bottom? Does it piggyback onto one of the big companies?

Somebody was on here saying they got a good signal near driving range.

It's Vodafone. I don't think anyone gets a strong signal by the golf course, but it's good enough so far.
